Gzira Property

Gzira, which translates as “the island”, has a dubious claim to fame. This refers to Manoel island, conveniently situated in Marsamxett Harbour. These days, state revenue is more hygienically generated by tax incentives, which encourage property investments from overseas. The seafront of Gzira, most people’s first choice for a property purchase, enjoys breathtaking views of the walled city of Valletta, imposing in the floodlit evenings.

For property investments, neighbouring town Ta’Xbiex are also a safe bet, 3-bedroom apartments directly on the yacht marina fetching rental revenues in excess of 1000€.
